Retreat Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and Bianca Gfrei, Rua de São Marçal 104, 4E, 1200-422 Lisboa, Portugal (VAT PT317126857).

By completing your booking at checkout (including payment of your deposit), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

The retreat is led by Bianca Gfrei (lead facilitator), together with supporting facilitators where applicable.

These Terms apply to all retreats and in-person programs organized by the facilitators unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific event.

1. Registration & Deposit

Your deposit secures your place at the retreat.

As we work with intentionally small and intimate groups, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, as they cover preparation, planning, and reservation costs.

Your place is only confirmed once the deposit payment has been received.

2. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due four weeks before the retreat start date, unless otherwise communicated in your booking confirmation.

Payment is made via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once full payment has been received, you will receive final logistical details and preparation information.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that life circumstances can change. However, as each retreat requires significant preparation and reserved spaces, the following cancellation terms apply:

• More than 16 weeks before (113+ days): deposit retained; any balance already paid is refunded in full.
• 16 to 8 weeks before (113–57 days): 50% refund of any balance paid; deposit retained.
• Less than 8 weeks before (56 days or fewer): no refund; full payment remains due.

If you are unable to attend due to illness shortly before the retreat, refunds cannot be issued. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers personal cancellation reasons.

In the rare case that the retreat must be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to force majeure, travel restrictions, or venue issues), all payments will be fully credited toward a future retreat.

4. Participation & Personal Responsibility

By participating, you acknowledge that you take full responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during the retreat.

This program includes somatic, emotional, and embodied practices that may bring up strong feelings, memories, or sensations.

The retreat is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.

If you are currently in acute crisis, receiving psychiatric care, or taking medication that may interact with intensive emotional or somatic work, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before registering.

You agree to inform the facilitators of any relevant health conditions, medications, or sensitivities via the intake form.

We reserve the right to decline or pause participation if we determine that the retreat is not suitable for your current wellbeing or safety.

By participating, you release the facilitators and venue from liability related to your participation.

5. Guest Intake Form

After your registration, you will receive an intake form to complete at least six weeks before the retreat. This form must be completed prior to the retreat and is an essential part of preparation, allowing us to understand your background, needs, and any relevant health considerations.

6. Liability Waiver

In addition to these Terms & Conditions, you will be required to sign a separate Participation Agreement & Liability Waiver (our Sacred Agreement) before participating in the retreat.

This waiver further outlines risks related to the practices included in the retreat and is completed via your intake form.

7. Sacred Container & Confidentiality

This program is held as a sacred container built on trust, respect, and confidentiality. We ask all participants to:

- Honour the confidentiality of what is shared in circle

- Respect boundaries and consent at all times

- Approach the work with sincerity and presence

We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave who disrupts the container or violates these principles, without refund.

Aurora Membership – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and Bianca Gfrei, Rua de São Marçal 104, 4E, 1200-422 Lisboa, Portugal (VAT PT317126857).

By completing your purchase at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Membership & Payment

Aurora is an ongoing membership with a minimum commitment of 3 months. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle: €500 per quarter or €1,800 per year. By completing your purchase, you agree to this minimum commitment.

2. Cancellation Policy

After the minimum commitment of 3 months, you may cancel at any time before your next billing cycle. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] at least 7 days before your next renewal date. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period. If notice is received fewer than 7 days before a renewal date, the upcoming billing cycle will still be charged, and the cancellation will take effect from the following cycle.

3. Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. As Aurora is a curated, high-touch collective with limited capacity, we are unable to offer refunds once payment has been processed.

4. Participation & Responsibility

Aurora includes somatic and emotional work that may bring up intense feelings or memories. The program is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. By joining, you confirm that you take full responsibility for your participation.

5. Confidentiality

Aurora is held as a confidential container. All participants agree to honour the privacy of what is shared within the group, in live sessions, the community space, and all Aurora spaces.

6. Intellectual Property & Recording Policy

All Aurora content, including live sessions, materials, and teachings, is the intellectual property of Vanessa von Frankenberg and Bianca Gfrei. Recording of live sessions is not permitted without prior written consent. Materials are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed.

7. Code of Conduct

Aurora is a sacred container built on mutual respect, honesty, and confidentiality. Behavior that disrupts the safety or integrity of the space (including breaches of confidentiality, harassment, or repeated disrespect) may result in removal from the membership without refund.

8. Changes to Terms or Pricing

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes via email. Founding Members are the first 12 members to join Aurora. Their pricing is locked for as long as their membership remains continuously active and will not increase, even if rates change for new members. If a Founding Member cancels, the locked pricing no longer applies and standard rates apply on any future rejoining.

9. Limitation of Liability

Aurora is a transformational and educational membership, not a licensed therapeutic or medical service. Vanessa von Frankenberg and Bianca Gfrei are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage (physical, emotional, financial, or otherwise) arising from participation in Aurora. By joining, you agree to participate at your own risk.

Access is granted via the provided link or email confirmation. Depending on the format, you may receive either live access, replay access, or both. Access is personal and non-transferable.

2. Payment & Confirmation

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Your registration is confirmed once the payment has been successfully processed.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the digital and/or live nature of this offering, all purchases are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend a live session, a replay will be provided where applicable.

4. Participation & Responsibility

This masterclass may include educational, somatic, or reflective practices.

You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and take full responsibility for your own wellbeing.

This offering does not replace medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.

5. Content Use

All content shared is for personal use only and may not be recorded, copied, or distributed without permission.

6. Access Changes

We reserve the right to make minor changes to timing, format, or delivery method if necessary. Any major changes will be communicated clearly in advance.
